Join this creative and fun workshop to design your own outdoor seasonal planter!
You receive everything you need to make a beautiful and full planter including: birch branches, red marsh dogwood sticks, assorted cones, feature stems like wood roses, palm cups or wood cone flowers, and a large supply of mixed greens from B.C. and Ontario (minimum of 6 different types). Additional items are available to add some sparkle and an optional bow. I will teach you how to put it all together, and support you through every step of the design process. Consider ordering a personalized birch plaque for an additional cost of $20.
You bring your own pot, 12"-14" in diameter, filled to the very top with loose soil. Several days before the workshop, check to see if the soil in your pot is frozen and thaw completely in advance of the workshop and that any old organic material has been removed. If you need a pot or a liner to put inside an urn or planter you already own, please email at least a week in advance so that I can support you to get what you need for the workshop.
Below are some sample planters that have been made during previous workshops. Yours will be uniquely your own depending on the materials you choose and the design you prefer.
This is a popular workshop, so sign up soon to get your spot!
Snacks, tea and coffee are provided.
Please email me if you have any questions. I'm looking forward to welcoming you or welcoming you back to my studio!
